Russian Conference
on Gas Hydrates
The Russian Conference on Gas Hydrates will be an event that brings together scientists from all fields of science studying the phenomenon of gas hydrates, not only in Russia, but also abroad.
The main goal of the conference is to provide scientists and practitioners with a platform for exchanging research results, developing fruitful cooperation and professional connections, as well as identifying the main tasks and priorities in the study of gas hydrates.

The conference will cover a wide range of issues in various areas of gas hydrate research at the intersection of natural and technical sciences and innovative technologies: from the physical and chemical foundations of hydrate formation, technological aspects of their use and application to the geology of gas hydrates, their impact on the environment and climate, and also contributes to the global carbon cycle.

We also welcome coverage of research in related areas of science - the use of semi-clathrate and ionic clathrate hydrates, the study of permafrost, methane seeps, numerical and basin modeling in the presence of gas hydrates, and others.

The conference program will include plenary, oral and poster sessions, as well as round tables and a unique excursion around Baikal on a research vessel to gas hydrate accumulations.
